It was great to hear in the Tuesday meeting that the design of the new soldering iron is almost complete. Unfortunately, something came up yesterday that will cause us a bit of a problem. As you know, Don Getman returned this week from India, and he's just now had an opportunity to look at the specs. His major issue is the placement of the logo. He wants the soldering iron to "fit in with the appearance of the entire product line," which essentially means that he wants the company logo to be displayed more prominently.
Since we had early discussions on the placement of the logo, I know that we anticipated this objection and that you have a series of alternatives in hand. Let's meet tomorrow and agree on the best alternative for giving Don what he wants. If you're available at 8:00 a.m., that's a good time for me. It also allows us time to schedule a meeting with Don later in the day.
I believe we can resolve this issue to everyone's satisfaction and still meet our deadline.
